**Update!!NRR (Not Review Related)

***UPDATE***

I cooled off after my shower and we made it to the funeral. I started to feel better. My back and shoulder are really bothering me the last couple of days. Other than that, it went smoothly. Yay!!!!

Occasionally on this blog you will see the following abbreviation: NRR. What does this mean? In my world, it means Not Review Related. In other words, off topic. Got it?  Great!

As you know, I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She’s a particularly rotten beast, and LOVES to mess with me. Usually I handle it fairly well. However, the last four weeks or so, not so much. It’s incredibly frustrating when this happens because I miss out on my life. Usually I end up in bed for days. Even worse though, is when I manage to be out of bed and visible to my husband and kids, I’m benched, in the penalty box. Fatigue, muscle spasms, weakness, slurred speech, memory problems, tremors, cognitive issues, and my all time favorite, profuse sweating.

That’s where I’m at this morning. Just taking a freaking shower has put me here. (Insert ferocious scream!). We have a funeral to attend at 10:00 (my husband’s great uncle). So I’m putting on some makeup and hoping for the best!

Bluetooth Beanie

This truly is the coolest product I have reviewed so far!  I thought the idea was a little ridiculous when the promo was posted on a Facebook group. But….I was intrigued and opted in anyway.

The beanie arrived in a pretty nondescript package. It had a little instruction pamphlet, the beanie, and a USB cord for charging. I plugged it in to my laptop and waited. An hour later I unplugged the beanie, glanced over the instructions, and grabbed my iPhone 6S Plus. Pairing the beanie with Bluetooth was really fast and easy. I stuck the beanie on my head and opened up Spotify.

Wow!  I have to admit I was pretty amazed at how awesome the music sounded!  As you can see from the photo, you put the beanie on with the little Bluetooth panel on one side, not in the front like I tried at first. Directly opposite the panel there is what feels like a little magnet sewn into the hat. It’s not. It’s another little speaker!!

I didn’t even have to get the two speakers exactly over my ears, just in the general vicinity. The sound quality equals that of my Bluetooth headphones. The bass was booming, the vocals were crisp and clear, and everything in between was absolutely phenomenal. I couldn’t believe the quality of the sound. It was nice and crisp, like when you have really good headphones or speakers.

The beanie itself was made out of a nice, soft knit. It wasn’t itchy or scratchy. It fit my head really well. Doesn’t it look cute in the photo?  Such a cool little product. I wear it all the time lately. It’s much easier to deal with than headphones. No cords, no ear buds that fall out or don’t fit right, nothing flopping around on my neck.

The only criticism I have is lack of volume control. In order to manipulate the volume, you have to do it on the phone. Really not a big deal, just a little annoying. Also, if something else tries to make noise, the speakers cut off. I haven’t received a phone call while wearing it yet, so I don’t know how that works, or how well you can be heard by the other caller.

Reviewing the Bluetooth Beanie was so much fun!  The most fun I’ve had since starting this whole reviewing thing. I can’t wait to review another fun product like this one.

And yes, I wrote this blog post while rocking out to Spotify, wearing the Bluetooth Beanie!

My first post!!

Yikes!! In all the hustle and bustle of daily life, I forgot to start posting on this blog!  Duh. Silly Heather.  lol.

I am married to my best friend, Donny. Ten years in May!!!  Woop! Woop!!  Mama to four awesome kiddos. Two boys. Two girls. 17, 15, 13 and almost 8 years old!  Stepmom to a lovely young lady, 18 and college bound!!

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in October 2009. Totally rocked my world!!  I figured out how to cope and found the right combo of meds so now my MS is stable. Yahoo!

I’ve been a Registered Nurse for ten years. MS really managed to screw up a budding career. Nevertheless, the skills and knowledge are still there. I sometimes get the opportunity to use it.

I’m on Social Security Disability, due to my MS. It was hard to accept at first, but I managed to get over it and make something out of this life!!

About six months ago I kind of fell into product reviewing for Amazon. How?  I’m not really sure. I will go into detail about how YOU can get into this in a later post. I really enjoy it. I get products for FREE, yes free, or really, really discounted. (Like 95-97% off!!)

So I have posted about 322 reviews this far on Amazon. Wow!  322!!!  I am still learning on how to be a better product tester, write fabulous and stunning reviews, and which websites or Facebook groups really work well.

It’s all kind of a hit or miss, trial and error kind of thing. As long as you follow Amazon’s rules regarding reviewing (TOS terms of service), then go ahead and wing it!!

It’s fun and it gives me something to do all day while my kids are at school and my hubby is working. It keeps my mind active, which is essential when you have MS.

So…you are going to come with me, dear reader, on my journey through the land of Amazon and product reviewing!  Aren’t you excited?  I know I am!!

Please leave comments and help me make this blog fun and informative!
Thanks!!!
